Olaf (ウォラフ Orafu?) was a Norse warrior and the father of Askeladd.
Appearance[]
Olaf has medium-length blond hair, a matching goatee, and grey eyes. He wears a black cape over a red outfit, a black belt, grey pants, and brown boots.
Personality[]
Olaf is a self-centered warrior. He cared for women, booze, and battles. Only children from Olaf’s legal wives were named. While Lydia was his favorite slave in her youth, once she grew sick, Olaf treated her like a dog. He only takes an interest in Askeladd once he displays sword skills, and never noticed he resented him enough to kill him.
History[]
Olaf was a Danish lord who took Lydia as a concubine while raiding the coast of Wales. Although he favoured her in her youth, he tired of her once she grew ill, resulting in Lydia and their son, Askeladd, living in abysmal conditions. When Lydia confuses him for Artorius upon his return from a battle and gets in his way, he raises his sword to fend her off. Askeladd grabbed a sword to block his swing before he could kill or harm her. Impressed with Askeladd's skills despite having no training, he welcomed him into his hall and raised him along his trueborn sons. One day, as he laid naked next to a woman, Askeladd made his way into his rooms and killed him.
